And finally (if you can make time to do so), WTH really happen in New Orleans East? And how did you survive?

I chickened out in the last minute and went with my peoples neighbors to the clarion hotel downtown. We all paid for 4 people on the 4th floor cause we all were talking outside and got scared casue of the Lake. Good thing cause house was under water. all u saw was the roof. Then right before the looting started we left on the backroad of highway 90 cause it was still accessible and i stayed in laplace before going to Lake Charles to back up here to my miserable life. I saw house over internet. [Edited 9/20/05 14:21pm]

I lost the apartment (due to toxic mold poisoning) and well as my day job. I'll still be hanging out with friends of mine in LaPlace for awhile. But I'm still looking for a new apartment. I'm still researching Baton Rouge & Atlanta.
