I was a bit  at this news to.
Rene filed using "Fraud" as the reason. Not that he committed a criminal act, but it's something to do with terms that allow an annulment such as... underaged when married....still married to someone else etc. I'm not big fans of either of them, but I am sorry to see this. Their pictures were really sweet. I'm firmly planted in denial |

They said there was a miscommunication of their objectives of the marriage...I think it's a children thing or someone wants to be able to fuck other people | |

Isnt marriage annullment a way of protecting each others assets and property???
If a couple annulls a marriage then it makes it appear as though the marriage never happened in the first place!! That way, when and if a divorce happens then each party involved cannot bunk off with half of each others property and assets. thus protecting oneself!!! Well, this is according 2 US Divorce Law anyway!! Isnt that what happened with Prince and Mayte??? Their marriage was annulled so that it appeared legally that the marriage never happened so that when the final divorce came through Mayte couldnt run off with half of Paisley Park, Half of Princes home(s), half of his finances, etc.!!! He was protecting himself!! He didnt want Mayte owning half of everything he had!! Me thinks, anyway, that Prince had an inkling that Mayte wouldnt stay with him judging by the lyric in Joint 2 Joint, "U'd probably take me for half"!!! | |
