It was a tough decision for me. It was nice to write in a different voice and just be anonymous. I was less guarded and felt like I could say whatever the hell I wanted. Actually, I could do that anyway. It's not like anybody knows who GottaLetitgo is either. All good things they say never last...

P.S. Does this mean I can go back to posting pics of chicks in leather? Thank you. Cow always wanted to bring joy to people. Actually Cow started out really angry but I always hoped people thought it was amusing. Chicks in leather? Hmmm...can it be faux-leather? The cow in me is just not sure about the real stuff yet. I just felt like I was going in circles with it so I thought I would take Cow out before she became really annoying and people stopped reading. I think I will lay off alternative org accounts for awhile. Too confusing. All good things they say never last...

uhmn....if it's okay, I have a few words...
I didn't know Cow, I just read her posts. But judging from what I read she seemed like a caring free-spirit. Like the type who grabbed life by the horns & milked it for all that it was worth. She seemed really down to earth, like her beef was well-ground(ed). Her attitude was of tolerance ( mostly lactose ) & she always seemed to put udders first. I'm sure that we can all take great comfort in knowing that she's in a much greener pasture now. No you may not...Cow needs to be remembered with reverence...not as footwear! btw Moo-shoe? I've been trying to figure out what I felt like for dinner today. Chinese sounds grand. Thanx 4 the idea. [Edited 9/15/05 14:40pm]

Absolutely. It was kind of cool to write in a "female" voice or at least a female animal's voice. I felt like Prince embracing his Camille self. Actually, I guess she was "Cow-mille". Cow would not appreciate that joke. All good things they say never last...

Could have made Cow a male but then it would have been a bull. Not to be confused with RagingBull who I have no idea who that is. Also, as is possibly speculated in another thread, I am not SausagePlatter either. All good things they say never last...

My favorite thing that I did to hint to people that I was Cow was, for a day, I put a quote at the bottom that said "In All Moments, Consider One's Worth." The first letter of all of those words, I AM COW. I attributed it to someone named O'Leary, which was of course an allusion to the Chicago Fire, started by Mrs. O'Leary's cow. I was going to attribute it to an ancient Greek poet named Bovinious but I thought that would be too obvious. And this hint was of course lost on everyone. Such wasted brilliance..
If I put as much effort into paying off my debts as I did bringing life to Cow, I would be a rich man. All good things they say never last...

It's all water under the bridge now. I always was kinda hoping that there would be this big buzz and everybody would be wondering who Cow was but it never really happened. A couple of people e-mailed to ask and one Orger actually guessed correctly but most people either were ambivalent or enjoyed the fantasy of a cow with a specialized keyboard who was involved in a revoloution. Do you think Cow might like to be remembered like this?

I think it was the latter, more than anything. I wondered who Cow was, but after a while I decided it was more fun to imagine myself interacting with a computer literate herd animal.
