best/lamest movie twists ever (possible spoiler alerts) doesn't necessarily have to be the ending...but just some flip of the scripts that made you gasp from the cleverness of it or the sheer stupidity of it
best: the crying game the sixth sense when a stranger calls dressed to kill psycho worst: the village saw you look better on your facebook page than you do in person

best:
angel heart- loved this adaption to the faust theme ... deniro , mickey rourke ... etc worst : i just saw LADDER 49 ? with john travolta .... maybe it is not a movie "twist" - but through out the movie ... the main charactor is trapped ... and thru flashbacks u see his life as a fireman .... ok .... well ...i dont wanna spoil anything ... but .... a decent movie kinda left me feelin flat afterwards ... thats it ....

Friday the 13th (original)
Jason's Mother was the slasher! a female! this is never the case. Spawned so many crap sequels but a great trivia question. 'How many victims did Jason kill in the first Friday the 13th movie?' answer: NONE classic! ---------------------------------
Funny and charming as usual

"Hide and Seek"
There is a surprise twist, but it's not clever or in synch with the rest of the story. Really, it's kinda random. Dakota Fanning knows the entire time who's doing all of the killin' an such and she says nothing. She sees her Father scared 2 death and racking his brain 2 protect himself and his child and she never says "Oh by the way Dad, I know who's behind all of this. U might wanna sit down..." Meh. I don't like scary movies anyway. Listen to me on The House of Pop Culture podcast on itunes http://itunes.apple.com/u...d438631917

I never thought 'Fight Club' was believable. If I saw a guy wrestling with himself outside a bar, I would not make him the leader of an underground fighting ring.
I liked the twist in Almodóvar's 'Bad Education'.

The 1989 Kevin Costner film, "No Way Out".
When he starts speaking Russian - no way you could see that coming!

One of my favorite twists:
Vader: Obi Wan never told you what happened to your father. Luke: He told me enough! He told me you killed him! Vader: No... I am your father.
