I bought the boxed set over the weekend. This is one of the best DVD sets I have purhased in a long time. All 24 episodes from season one, with over 8hours of bonus material.

I was really suprised to see each episode is widescreen 1:78:1 and is Dolby Digital 5.1.

If you missed season one or you are a fan, this is a must have.

Best fucking show I've ever seen on TV. Hands down.

Mainly because I saw it at school having read nothing in the papers or anything; so I had no idea what it was going to be about - and how it developed! Jeeesus it had me and my friends chatting about it for hours after an episode.

hmm, I'm not one to buy tv shows on DVD but...maybe I'll get this set..the "8 hours of bonus material" is enough to make me consider it.

I didn't like the show at first but...now I agree with spooky this is the best show on tv! so many levels, so many things to figure out.
I can't wait for this show to start up again Sept 21st! only 9 days left!!

One of my best friends turned me on to the show. I ended up downloading all 24 episodes and watched them in 2 days. Yeah, I don't have a life.

It was pretty creepy. I just hope they don't dissapoint.

Yes the extras are indeed great. And the show also holds up for extra viewings. I was shocked at how many times I still jumped int he pilot episode.

You know a better marketing strategy would be for them to sell extras outside the set for those that don't wanna fork over the 50 bucks nor want to rewatch it all. They could do it for 25 and make a killing. 50 bucks for 7 discs or 25 for 1 bonus disk.

Favorites: Hurley, Sun, Syied and Rose (woman who's husband was int he back of the plane when they went down)

Yes the new girl will be a focus of Season 2 and will joint he regular cast. Her character will bring up the possibility of back plane survivors...as Rose alluded to. Her arrival with set off a love quadrangle...though will be Jacks Love interest (I think Kate and Sawyer will become an item). I think she will get 2 back stories one pre crash and one post crash that will deal with what the heck has been going on with her.

Actually we will see Rose in Season 2 and the fact of her husband will be dealt with. I really hope she gets to join the cast in some sort of permanent way, as she could be a mentor/spirit guide/momma for the survivors.

As to Raft Survivors. They don't get back too soon. Though I have heard all do survive.

Walt. Yes we will see him. There were questions surrounding the time factor of the show against real time and that he's aging very quickly vs. 40 days on an island. They may write that in somehow.

I heard that Shannon sees Walt on the island and tries convincing the other survivors that she saw him. They think she's nuts.
