People who hold hands in public, older people not like teenagers but 30 or 40 year olds, get on my damn nerves. I just don't understand it. What insecurity leads couples to have to latch on to one another out in public? I mean I can understand special occasions like weddings or honeymoons but what's the deal with couples out at the mall? Are people just bragging ("hey look who's at the end of my arm") or are they afraid they are going to lose each other?

Just one of many issues with humanity...

I seem to resent any couples that look happy. I've got issues.

I hold hands with the mrs walking in the mall. Not everywhere though, but usually. Some places it feels right while in others it doesn't, it's hard to explain.

there is nothing cuter then an 80 yr old couple holding hands...with the other hand on their cane or walker.

seriously though i think its commendable that older folks after 10, 20, 30+ years together still want to show affection for each other. i would like to have that someday.

I love it when people hold hands. You wouldn't take it for granted if you couldn't always walk holding hands with someone you love.
