normally when I meet people for the 1st time,
I'm happy if I can remember their name 5 minutes later - I am SO BAD with peoples names..

usually when I meet someone for the 1st time, I'm "polite enough"..
but I don't think I ever "overreact" or "react strongly" (positively or negatively) to seomeone I meet for the 1st time..

that said,
it does sometimes happen where
a few hours or days later
I remember the person I met
& I say to myself "damn, I'd like to see/talk with that person again!"

as I'll allude to in a later post,
when I meet someone I typically prefer to let them do the talking
(less "work" for me, & I can get an idea of what type of person they are)

then sometimes I "debate" myself as to whether I should invest some time in getting to know this new person or not..
at least half of the time, I "lose" this debate & end up not getting to know the person in question.

then, as I generally think :
if someone is "supposed" to be in my life - at a certain time for a certain reason - then things will happen so that this person is in my life & I am in theirs..!



I'm guessing that by the 3rd shot of Jack, the truth will be pouring out shortly after..

I love those beginning stages of relationships, even friendships. I haven't had one in a while, but I call them friendship crushes. Or I used to call it 'my new favorite friend'. When you first really get to know someone and you think, gosh, this person is just so freaking neat/interesting/cool/whatever and you get all excited to hang out or talk or just be together. I miss that. I need a new friendship crush.
