I acknowledge that YOU think your life is "boring", but I am VERY CERTAIN that there are things about you that others (including me) would find interesting..! I read many of your threads all over the org, & to me it's like you show little "bits & pieces" of yourself.. why you do this, I do not know but I am sure that there is more to you than what most of us see here on the org. OF COURSE, it's your decision to show as much or as little of yourself as you want.. again, this is the value I see in someone interviewing themselves - they have an opportunity to shed some light on themselves in a way that is not so.. "contrived" (again, I say "contrived" for lack of a better word..) well obviously Nancy it's YOUR CHOICE to do a self interview or not, but I think you too would do a good 1, if you wanted to do 1.. THANKS to all who've participated so far in this unusual thread
& THANKS for the positive feedback..! at the risk of being "greedy", it would be cool to see another "self-interview" or 2.. or 3.. then.. here is an excerpt from that same interview that ended up in the print equivalent of "the cutting room floor" : mltijchr - doing the research for this interview, I came across 2 things about which I wanted to ask you : your unbridled enthusiasm for STEELY DAN & your propensity to always wear white socks.. JaChri : wow, you did do your research! well with Steely Dan, it's definitely the music that gets to me, that I appreciate. there are few artists who are that good at combining elements of different styles of music like Donald & Walter. not only that, but in most of their songs they are very good at creating an "atmosphere" in the song, a mood. I also like the lyrics, which are typically not what you would hear in most types of popular music. somehow I relate to some of the characters in some of their songs. the only thing about Steely Dan is that they release an album once every 3 or 4 years! mltijchr - & the white socks?? JaChri : hm, I'd call that a simple preference. I simply like the contrast between white socks & black shoes (most of the shoes I own are black).. mltijchr - what if you go to a wedding, or what if you have to be "dressed up" for something?? JaChri : I usually "get over" there by wearing a pair of boots. they're high enough to hide or obscure the white socks. I LOVE white socks.. mltijchr - I see.. I'll see you tonight..
