Don't yall remember it like it was yesterday, being young and discovering Prince? I was in my teens during his heyday and having him releasing those kick ass albums one after the other, while I was in my formative/transformative years. What a blessing to have experienced that
Anyway, time flies. Damn.... Supa..I COMPLETELY understand!!! I'm also 5 years from 40 my damn self...wondering where the hell did the time go...seems like only yesterday when I was buying all the Prince albums, 12" (god I miss those), videos...hanging up posters...lighting candles and insense...living like a poor Stevie Nicks... 
But I am thankful (VERY THANKFUL) that I grew up then..and not now....I would've missed all that magical shit. Same here and same age...
It's amazing how fast time has gone by...do you feel like you're nearly 40? I don't... And the 80s were an amazing decade...thank GOD for them | |
