How this country, the UK, would cope if such a tragic event such as Hurricane Katrina would come upon us!!!!!

People here would b whinging and moaning that there are no pubs, theres no football(soccer), no Coronation Street, Eastenders, Emmerdale or Trisha 2 watch on TV and they would even whinge and moan there IS no TV. EVERYTHING virtually in this country would b gone!!!! But, of course, there wouldnt b many people left alive anyway!!

This country has NO FEMA, The Government here couldnt care less about its people even in good times let alone during a hurricane as big as Katrina!!! For years afterwards emergency services, such as they are, would b scratching their asses wondering what 2 do!! Once the ball got rolling in the USA after Katrina, moreorless everything was running like clockwork and and a well oiled machine and everything kicked into action with aid, shelter, food, clothing, etc. I saw on the news 2day that the Astrodome in Houston is now virtually empty, except for a couple of thousand cos all the evacuees have found either temporary or permanent housing, jobs, and have been issued Debit Cards of a $2000 per family 2 get themselves back on their feet as well as food stamps, medical aid, Food Banks!! Now, u British orgers u can see the value of such aids and benefits that u so well laughed and scoffed at me about a few months ago!!!

In such a tragic event as this this country will totally dissappear from the planet!!!!
