I mean- okay, so it'z not the freaking 1950s- but what does it take for a lil bit of freaking courtesy?

Whenever I am on the train- whether it be on the way 2 work or uni- and im struggling with a heavy bag- absolutely NO men give up their seatz!! YET...i've had gracious old ladies offer seats next to me if they are vacant- they'll tag me on the back so i can quickly take a seat. I dont know why i bother bothering about this- but i wish good mannerz stayed intact these dayz

And again today for instance!! I had 2 call the Gas Man 2 get him 2 turn the pilot light on as the old gas unit was replaced. Imagine knowing dat i am a lil lady- i had 2 go get him the ladder from outside...DRAG it indoors while he stood watching and waiting I'm like thinkin- he'd save more time carrying it himself- instead of me and this stupid ladder which is bigger than me lugging about!! AND THEN he left me 2 drag the great big monstrosity out- didnt even offer- or ask if i was okay. ASS HOLE!! '

I have heard similar storiez from otherz.

I am not impressed.

This is a issue for me too Missy Its free after all, and I think makes the world a better place.
I am a courteous driver, and let people cross the road, let them out of junctions etc...no thanks at all I even thank the people who thank me for summin I do
And then there are the people who just cross where they like...all...S..L..O..W.. like their cool/hard or summin I dunno..I'm not a rude or violent man, but sometimes it flashes though my head Not as hard as the ton of car I'm driving, how cool would you feel if...
And then I stop myself and think, I don't need to be rude or horrible...

There is nothing big in being rude to others, and I think its rude not to say thankyou, or help out where you can.....

You know once I was driving down this road and a woman with an INFANT child in her armz was crossing the (very very busy) street and i had 2 stop for her (and i'm horn friendly- so me doin dat and witholding my anger at what she was doing was an effort 2 say the least )...grrr but i know dat one example is off topic...but what u said also reminded me of the timez i've had 2 stop for pedestrianz who walk soooo slowly (they are not old, sick or disabled) down the street!! Once i honked cause this woman paused in the middle deciding whether she should cross or not...itz like HELLO WOMAN!! I am doin you a favour!! Now would u do me a favour n get out of my way nicely?!

Also when i gave way 2 this man once he made a weird ass face at me- i'm like FINE next time don't expect no favourz

A lil more on topic I was on the tram last year, and I saw this really elderly lady get on, kinda slowly, but with purpose ya know, so I saw there were no seats, and no one was getting up, so I got up and asked if she wanted to sit instead.....Dya know what she said....

NO!!! I'm not a cripple you know

I couldn't believe it I was only trying to be nice

Maybe she was a lil proud who knows..but a simple no thank you would have done nicely

Can't win! Women are the worst since all this equality crap, chivalry has largely been eliminated by women.

chivalry really is dead. It doesn't really bother me though....because I'm able to open my own doors and whatnot. It does kinda make me smile and feel special when a man goes out of the way to hold the door open for me. I know was in a similar situation a while back where me and my roommate was struggling.....I mean struggling to move this refrigerator into our dorm. We passed by several big strong muscular boys.....not one even offered to help....whatever...who needs em. Before this happened I told my mom that I was worried about having trouble getting the refrigerator in the room....and she was like "don't worry, some boy on campus will help you".... yeah right! I kinda expected it though. But some men are so crazy these day..... I think many women would just be better off doing things own their own.
