Did you ever see this one? So horrible (its currently only available as a bootleg)!!! Seriously, it wasn't as good as the average Power Rangers episode!

i remember reading a really long article about it in film threat magazine years ago...it sounded so awful it almost deserves to be held up as a schlock classic.

This was sooooo awful!!!!! Yep, I saw it too.

I wonder what they're going to do with the AVENGERS movie. I collected them too.
A young Emma Samms would be great for the Scarlet Witch.

the avengers is going to be a tough one to pull off...so many strong characters with their own histories, it could be a real mess.

If they do a Captain America movie, they should do the "Truth: Red, White and Black" miniseries which is the prequal to Captain america, where the Government tested on unwilling black soldiers before they perfected the formula for use on a White soldier:

It's a good story.

It's already in production and will be a straight to video animated release sometime next year.

No way can a live action film ever be produced. The budget would have to be a gazillion dollars.

Wasn't that the main criticism for casting Jessica Alba in this year's film--that she didn't look like she should be selling Amway products? Sue Storm is supposed to look WASPy, not Latina.

Perhaps, but that was kind of obvious, right? I mean where the hell has he been for the last 50 years if it all ended hunky dory?

But his grandson is part of Young Avengers so I'm happy about that.

The Namor movie is currently in development. The last I heard, Chris Columbus (Harry Potter) was scheduled to direct.

Hate to dissapoint you, but its been shelved by the studio. Too bad, because David Hayter's script is suprisingly good.

You are correct. Many of the projects listed in this article are actually animated features set to go straight to DVD: Avengers, Power Pack, Cloak & Dagger (although, there is the possibility of this one also being made into a live action flick)

The animated Avengers is actually based on The Ultimates first storyarc.

This one is actually looking like its going to get made. Its been in pre-production for a while, but Columbus seems pretty intent on getting it made.

Depp is my choice. I think he could pull off the arrogant surgeon, as well as the Master of the Mystic Arts that he becomes. Depp has an amazing ability to go from normal, everyday guy to eccentric weirdo without any effort.

At one point, Wes Craven was going to direct this, but that fell through. I'm kinda relieved, but who SHOULD direct it? Tim Burton is the most obvious choice, but I really don't think his style is quite right.
