It's comfort food. Like mashed potatoes. In the south, they'd say it should only ever be served as a side dish, but as a kid the stuff out of the box was one of my favorite lunches. I haven't had it that way n yers, however. A friend makes it homemade as a side dish for thanksgiving sometimes and it's divine. Now I have a craving. I think I know what I'm having for dinner! |
