What is your best cold/sinus remedy?

I caught an annoying little head cold.
Post-nasal drip and a little cough.

Anyone got a good remedy?

fasting.

A strict water fast for about 5 days will do the trick everytime.

Seriously, I had post nasal drip and sinusitus for about weeks and nothing was stopping it. The coughing got so bad, I had to leave work several times.

In my desperation I read about fasting on the internet and how it clears these symptoms up and actually cures the problem.

I tried it, and within 2 to 3 days the symptoms were greatly diminished. Within a week they were completely gone.

Post nasal drip may be due to a viral issue that could take months to leave.

The cold virus is attacked by your own imuned system in a few days, but the virus that cuases post nasal drip or sinusitus can linguer.

Actually, I used to suffer from sinusitus yearly but about six years ago it never returned. It's like I developed an immunity to it. Your right about the virus, they can lay dormant until the body is weaken enough for them to get a foothold.

I just want to kill the cough. I'll try my father's old fashioned whiskey with honey. That always leaves me with a smile on my face if nothing else. biggrin

Those dissolvable all-natural Airbourne tablets actually work for me. Just plop one in a steaming cup of water and it makes me feel superb. You can order them online or get them at Walgreens.

They've been featured on Oprah before. Some folks swear by them and take them every day.

Give your cold to someone else. It won't cure you but at least they'll be able to share in your misery.
