It happened to a friend of mine and she had to get all four wisdom teeth removed. I only have one wisdom tooth - maybe another one is coming?

Get to a doctor immediately.
The probability of it being lockjaw (tetanus) is remote, but you need to have it checked out. Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

The probability of it being lockjaw (tetanus) is remote, but you need to have it checked out. The first symptoms typically appear within four to 25 days after infection. At the outset, you'll be troubled by painful muscle stiffness and spasms in the jaw and neck (from which the disease derives its name). Gradually, the back, chest, abdomen, and limbs also become affected. High fever, convulsions, restlessness, difficulty swallowing, fever, sore throat, chills, and extreme pain may eventually join the initial symptoms. I haven't got any puncture wounds

I don't fancy a trip to emergency right now, but if it's the same or worse tomorrow I definitely will go see my doc thanks

Hope you feel better soon thanks, wisdom teeth should be banned who has ever needed them!? I only have one and it's trouble, pushing all the other teeth over to make space for itself.

Jaw conditions: Temporomandibular disorders are conditions in which the temporomandibular joint (the jaw) is damaged and/or the muscles used for chewing and talking become stressed, causing pain. The condition may be the result of a number of factors, such as an injury to the jaw or joint misalignment, and may give rise to a variety of symptoms, most commonly pain in the jaw, face, and/or neck muscles. Physicians reach a diagnosis by listening to the patient's description of the symptoms and by performing a simple examination of the facial muscles and the temporomandibular joint.
hope it's not arthritis

Sometimes, I somehow sleep in an awkward position and the very same thing happens to me. Actually, I think the odd position is that I only ever sleep on my stomach, at which point every now and then, my face sort of gets lined up on the edge of the bed.
Anyway, makes for quite a painful day the next day. Insatiable taught me everything I know about balls.
