My mother and father worked in the resaurant and the kitchen of Schiphol airport respectively. The restaurant was one floor up and the food arrived in the restaurant via food elevators, you know, them small thingies just for food.

My father and mother had been ogling eachother for some time and had been on a few dates. Then my mother sent down this note for "Henk", my dad.

On it she wrote;

Dear,
Why don't you send up some pie

But the note was intercepted by my dad's boss, who wrote on it in pencil, it has almost faded;

Who is 'Henk'
However dear he is
We don't make moves on pie's!

My mom saved the paper until long after my father died. It is very dear to me...

just a few of the things ive inherited

that card is from my great great aunts fortune telling deck i have all of them but that card is important because when the doctors said my mum could never have any children she predicted me with it she also knew when me and my sister would be born and how we would look

the little plane was made by my grandad for my nan when he was away during the war its the plane he flew i think.

the book belonged to my grandmas uncle i liked it when i was little and it has the versions of the stories before they were toned down.

necklace came from europe with my mothers family its been passed down for quite some time.
