In a competition or raffle, lottery, lucky dip?

I once won $25 bread voucher, a frist aid kit and a burton snowboard with binding which I sold for $600 which was my best win so far.

Umm....I won a meat trey at the pub once!

I won a "We are the Titans" (think that was the name of the movie) pack from the video store..it had t shirts, jumpers and hats in it
I guess I have won about $150 at the casino before...but I very rarely gamble

I've won a few trophies and ribbons and lotsa certificates of achievement when i was a kid etc ...those were pretty cool and i guess when you look back on those thingz it'z nice.

But in as far as winning an actual something- the coolest thing i won was a Pop-Ball- this toy from the 1980s *FLASHBACK* it was this rubber half-ball that you turned inside out, and quickly put it on the floor to wait for it to pop up back to itz original shape!! It was kinda hazardous and got hit on the nose and cheek by it a few timez but i really wanted one, and i then i won it (it was from the Kidz Biz wheel where they have a wheel (duh) with different kid's photos on it and the wheel gets spun and if the pointer landz on your face you win stuff. It was from this show called Cartoon Company. Memoriez

my boss's wife used to be in a competition club and was winning stuff left right and centre, he'd come in with a palm pilot, or a laptop she'd win. she came close to winning on the New Price is Right too. My mother in-law won a hideous lounge suite that she gave us and we sold for $250!!! my sister in law always wins CDs and videos.

I won a basketball trophy!

But I don't understand why it had to be decided by a jury and judge, while I was in hand-cuffs

I won a gold medal in weighlifting once. I was 15 and it was raining, you could choose running around the track for sports (as if) or weightlifting indoors. So I had a go. I could lift 45kg and I only weighed in at about 50kg myself. Didn't even know I was in a competition until they announced it in assembly and presented me with a medal

I have won a bunch of junk but I am trying to think which one I was most proud of. I received two awards at work that mean a lot to me. My own personal work emmy in the shape of an iceberg. That was cool. And the other award I was Warden for a day with all of his powers which came with being in his office. That was so cool. Folks were scared for weeks when they saw my signature block on their forms and purchase orders. The cash that came with those two awards were not bad either. One was seven hundred fifty bucks and the other I think was two hundred. Now getting awards is no big deal to me.

I won a huge chocolate bar and a football once when I was a kid, after I've found and returned a very expensive ring, with a watch in it and covered in diamonds, to my neighbor.

for swimming i won
1 st prize in the under 18s lifesaving & 1 st prize in the girls 1500 m


i won £500 to spend on clothes for some other thing too
