OK, this week kicked our asses here in the U.S.

But, assuming we can allow ourselves a bit of respite amid all the new work we have before us, what are your plans this weekend?

Dude I spent 42 bucks fillin gup a VW beetle.

And I spent a half hour looking for a gas station that actually had gas.
By the time I went to a filling station, my gar was running on vapor and ionized air or whatnot.

I'm am not risking going ANY DAMNED PLACE this weekend.

Oh, and your GD threads are NOT so horrible anymore.

I'm being bourgeois this weekend...

Tomorrow, I'm taking my 4-year-old to an Octoberfest. (Actually, I've been waiting for fall since last year, so I'm going with or without her. But I hope she tags along )

Sunday night, my wife and I are going to an outdoor "Music of Star Wars" symphony/fireworks show by the Cincinnati Pops. Some of the proceeds are going toward the hurricane relief.

I'm gay, out and "proud," but I'll be celebrating 10 years of marriage -- to my awesome female wife -- in January. It's presented challenges, sacrifice and an amazing reliance on God, but I made a genuine commitment and there is great love in our relationship, so we're together... and happy.

I'm going camping up north. Initially, I didn't want to go and contribute to the gasoline crisis, but I can get there and back on one tank of gas, and it may be the last time I go camping in a long, long time if prices get worse.
