Humor you can't appreciate

Name someone who other people find hilarious and you just don't feel their stuff at all.

For me, it's Steve Harvey.
I just don't ever think he's funny.
Maybe it's his face that gets in the way. I dunno....that can't be it because there are plenty of ugly ass comedians that make me laugh..like Chris Rock and George Carlin. Who don't you find funny?

I don't get "dad" comedians, like what's his face from "Home Improvement" and Ray Romano from that Raymond show. I mean, usually even with comedians I don't think are funny, I can at least "get" their humor. I don't understand what it is these guys do that's supposed to be making me laugh. They don't really tell jokes and they don't really say witty things. They don't impersonate anyone. They just kinda make "aw shucks" faces and act lazy. That's funny? Hell, where are MY millions then?

Did you find Bill Cosby funny? He's probably the best known Dad-comedian.

You're probably right.
Jokes that make fun of white people go right over my head.
I don't see what's so damn funny about white people.

i do find him funny, and i don't count him as being in the same league as the guys i listed. cosby actually understood humor. he had wit. plus he was able to create different characters for different formats. i'm talking more about the guys who have gotten famous over the last ten years or so and have tv shows where they play loveable slob dads with unrealistically hot wives and eyerollingly precocious kids. there are about 10,000 of these shows on tv right now - it's the only kind of sitcom they'll air anymore.

I don't find Jimmy Fallon funny. AT ALL!
Oh yeah and Penn & Teller were never funny to me.

But I have to say I always thought Andrew Dice Clay was funny even though I'm a woman I know I'm not suppose to laugh at his sexist jokes but there is something about his delivery that made me laugh.

Great topic by the way!

Although I loved Seinfeld THE SHOW. I don't like his stand-up.

Seinfeld.

Most US sitcoms, come to think of it. I'm sure there are exceptions, but none come to mind. Most likely not current stuff.

Well just throw them all in there - Friends, Seinfeld, Becker, Everybody Loves Raymond... but leave Fresh Prince, Frasier and occasionally Drew Carey.

"Friends" never made me laugh either, except for maybe a couple of funny things Lisa Kudrow did. That show always reminded me of someone I don't like trying to cheer me up when I'm in a bad mood....it ain't gonna happen.
