David, He replied earlier on the Hurricane sticky thread at the General Discussion part. He's alive. I'd rather have you see what he wrote instead of me putting words in his mouth. He has quite a story. I hope he's still doing alright.

Thanks so much David. As purplecam said, I posted yesterday on the "sticky" in the General Discussion section. I would copy and paste it but it is very long because I was trying to fully update everyone.

I've been without power. The heat was horrible but the silence was worse. I have plenty of boom boxes but I had no "D" batteries. I absolutely cannot stand complete silence. It runs me crazy. Hell, I would have been happy to hear Whitney Houston so you know I was deperate. When I got in my car to look for batteries that first day, you were the first person I thought of. The car radio was playing Donna Summer's "Hot Stuff" and she never sounded better to my ears.
