I really wish prospective employers.... would inform you of what they want when they call you to schedule an interview. I went on one today that was a waste of my time. I only went on it so I could see if I could get more out of them then the offer I have gotten already. Anyway I get there and I am talking with the lady and she is like what do you want to do in the next year or so. I told her well I want to go back to school to get my teaching degree. After I wasted my breath explaining when, where and why. She was like well I can not hire you. I was like ok why. She then proceeds to tell me that since I will be leaving in a year she can not invest her time in me. I am thinking, well why did you not tell me this when you called me on monday. You could of menchioned you were looking for a more long time employee. I know what it costs a company to train a new employee, but fuck you just wasted an hour of my time...nevermind the fact you made me wait on you to start the interview at 10:30 when it was scheduled for 10:00. I told her I would be ending the interview at that time. I do not like the fact that she did not want to hire me based on the fact that in about a year I wanted to further my education, and I again thanked her for wasting my time. I swear people just get me sometime.
So I shall take the job as a pharmacy technician, make some cheddar, and start school again in January or June, which ever I get accepted for. Her companies loss not mine. | |
