Ok.....I'm Pissed! How the hell does gas go up $.45 in half a day?!!!!

Yes....the day I dreaded is here. South Carolina has finally reached $3.00 a gallon. Gas has went up $.65 this week mad....and it's only Wednesday. disbelief What made my blood pressure really shoot through the roof was that going up $.45 happened in only a matter of hours today. GOOOOLLLLLY! omg And people are lined up at the pumps like they're givin' away free gas or somethin'. I'm like, do y'all know something I don't.....is gas gonna be $4.00 when I wake up in the morning. Now how much is gas in your town?

Don't be mad. This is great news!. Oil companies are recording record profits and Congress just passed the energy bill giving them over 10 billion in tax breaks. The bottom line is a bottomless pit of opportunity. We can just be glad that the energy policy does not make any priority of renewable energy and leaves the biggest gas guzzling vehicles off the list of mandated mileage per gallon improvements.

These are the brightest days ever nod

It's called PRICE GOUGING!!!!
The price of gas is NOT supposed to increase overnight as a result of fuel shortages...because the gas in their tanks was already paid for at a lower rate! It really burns my *ss when they blame "the war" or "the hurricane" for higher gas prices...when in reality it's "the greed" that's to blame.

If you're not a Republican, you aren't patriotic, just a traitor. Don't you listen to Rush Limbaugh, Hannity and Combes or Skeletor, I mean Anne Coulter?

i have to park the damn gas guzzler truck...
it was only down 3/8ths of a tank but announced one station that had lower prices
(8 cents/liter cheaper...)so i went to fill...

$49 later...!!! and that was only for 3/8ths of a tank disbelief

97.9cents/litre x 3.785411784 liters to a US gallon = $3.70 (what i paid)
105.9cents/litre = $4.01 (what i would have paid anywhere else)
111.9cents/litre = $4.24 (what we will be paying tomorrow)
edit...
actually... today gas is selling for
119.9cents/litre = $4.54 omfg

Here in south-central... Kentucky... It's $2.89 a gallon right now.

In Georgia, as I am told by my ever-visiting Frenchman, it is $5+ in some areas. I also have a friend called Kevin down there that told me last night that lots of the gas stations from his work to his home were sold out of gas.

The French fellow lives outside Atlanta in Grayson, and last I heard from him it was a buck less there.

Why is everyone bitching! We have all the oil in Iraq. Iraq's oil is even paying for the war woot!

High gas prices are a fact of life. Too bad the Bush administration couldn't have true vision to wean us off the oil spicket.

Tax breaks for oil companies, hardly addressing fuel standards and the drilling of the Arctic preserve instead of innovation and investment in renewable energy.

You just have to love Republicans, for without them this nightmare wouldn't be possible. But people will be more concerned about 2 faggots and their personal lives than that they are getting fleeced by big oil.... People got their priorities in order nod
