For me "Grave" I am a real big b+w fan, I often think that colour is just too much especially in close up which most of these are, just too much detracting from the subject. Except for the sunset but for a comp that may be a little too mainstream. Hope that helps | |

“Red Rose” is a great shot, focus is sharp as hell – possibly been done before though
I like “Shoes” – not sure it has mass appeal Don’t personally like “Remembrance” (I like my photos happy) – may tug at judges heart strings though. Go with colour, B&W lacks depth. “Bud” is Gud, but slightly out of focus. I Loooove “Deck” this would be my choice, original yet homely feel. “Sunset” is a sure-fire contender, unbelievable colour. “Grave” is a good shot too, and worth considering except that, I like my photo’s happy. Sorry for being critical Mach, but I felt like I had to justify my choices. They are all good pics. Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC).
