Emotional Intelligence Quiz

My Results:

YOUR SCORE IS: 75
(100 is the highest score and 50 is average)

The Basics of Emotional Intelligence Include

Knowing your feelings and using them to make life decisions you can live with.
Being able to manage your emotional life without being hijacked by it -- not being paralyzed by depression or worry, or swept away by anger.
Persisting in the face of setbacks and channeling your impulses in order to pursue your goals.
Empathy -- reading other people's emotions without their having to tell you what they are feeling.
Handling feelings in relationships with skill and harmony -- being able to articulate the unspoken pulse of a group, for example.

Take the quiz here:

Exactly..lol nod If my last 15 calls came up emptyhanded, I think it's ok to say "Well, today's not my day. Might as well salvage it by skipping all that traffic and grabbing a beer"... thumbs up! That, plus the thought of selling insurance would make me wanna do that anyway. neutral

...but that was only because I replied what I thought they wanted to hear. When I did the test again and answered honestly I got 60. I really disagree with some of their opinions. For example, team-building meetings rarely seem to have a significant effect on creativity, in my experience. And how the hell can they say that I'm emotionally stupid just because I didn't notice what I did when the plane hit turbulence? I also agree with those that have opposed the right answer to the insurance salesman situation (and those are only a few examples of doubtful decisions on this website's part). disbelief

Same here, I got 95% because I gave the answers that I thought they wanted to
hear rather than my honest opinion (the only one I guessed wrong was the
Salesman one).

My honest answers actually got me 85%, which was higher than I expected
(as I've never really considered myself much of a 'people' person).
I also think my 'real' answers were better solutions than the ones they
recomended, and more likely to get results.

Fine my IQ is 142.

And how well we react in social situations usually is a good indicator of how well we will do in life overall.

I think this type of quiz says a lot more than a regular IQ test.

Based on 10 questions? How well we'll do in life overall? 8 out of 10 questions were about work related issues (typically American). I know people who have a very successful career, but are as unhappy as one can be. Would you call that doing well in life?

I didn't say THIS quiz, I said tests like this that show how we relate to eachother are better indicators than IQ tests.

The better we relate connect and understand eachother the more fulfilling our lives will be, with friends, lovers co workers etc...

and I think the happier we are with those around us the further we go in life.
