Shausler - The Voice Inside

He listens. Who else does? Who else knows what I mean? Who's the falsetto on the football terrace? Who feels small in the supermarket queue? Who was beautiful now bitter in a world gone wrong?

Darkness at the break of noon
Shadows even the silver spoon
The handmade blade, the child's balloon
Eclipses both the sun and moon
To understand you know too soon
There is no sense in trying.

seriously though

im not really bitter

i was a rosewood bitter for a minute with the prolfic poster nonsence

cause orgers here for almost a decade are merely members

while newbies here for mere months are elevated

but i quickly saw the pettyness in my argument

and retract all grievance

i am proud of my ability to adjust my opinion

after all i am a democrat

I don't much believe in collective political terms. The first policy of any sane governmental authority would be to send everyone to the moon and let every human, not one child spared, look at Earth and use their thumbs to eclipse it. Feel reality's fire in their belly and burn and choke on the wonder of it all. Then maybe we'll see some truth.

You'd like to go to the moon, wouldn't you? William Burroghs thought it'd be the next evoultionary step, from the sea, to the land, to the stars. And then...

. Strange things have happened, like never before.
My baby told me I would have to go.
I can't be good no more, once like I did before.
I can't be good, baby,
Honey, because the world's gone wrong.

2. Feel bad this morning, ain't got no home.
No use in worrying, 'cause the world gone wrong,
I can't be good no more, once like I did before.
I can't be good, baby,
Honey, because the world's gone wrong.

3. I told you, baby, right to your head,
If I didn't leave you I would have to kill you dead.
I can't be good no more, once like I did before.
I can't be good, baby,
Honey, because the world's gone wrong.

4. I tried to be loving and treat you kind,
But it seems like you never right, you got no loyal mind.
I can't be good no more, once like I did before.
I can't be good, baby,
Honey, because the world's gone wrong.

5. If you have a woman and she don't treat you kind,
Praise the Good Lord to get her out of your mind.
I can't be good no more, once like I did before.
I can't be good, baby,
Honey, because the world's gone wrong.

6. Said, when you been good now, can't do no more,
Just tell her kindly, "there is the front door."
I can't be good no more, once like I did before.
I can't be good, baby,
Honey, because the world's gone wrong.

7. Pack up my suitcase, give me my hat,
No use to ask me, baby, 'cause I'll never be back.
I can't be good no more, once like I did before.
I can't be good, baby,
Honey, because the world's gone wrong.

i'd like to visit, but not live there forever. i'm into astral traveling and all, but i'd never give up this beautiful earth, though it seems it won't remain beautiful much longer. Anyways, what the fuck would we do on the moon, i'm sure that eclipsing the earth with your thumb trick would get old pretty quick. confused

Those verse numbers kinda ruin the effect. smile That's actually my favourite Dylan album, y'know.

It's not a trick. It's a perception excerise.
