What happened to Montel? Last we heard over here, he had MS. I wonder how he's doing.

I thought the Montel show was still on the air? "Nobody makes me bleed my own blood...NOBODY!"

Ex-Moderator | I Rikki Lake!
I went to a taping of her show years ago. It was SO cheesy. They showed me and my 'audience reaction' several times as my friend and I were totally hamming it up to see if we'd get on camera. |

I think Montel move to Canada so he can continue to smoke weed to help ease the pain he already gets from having MS (and no, I'm not try to be funny).

With Ricki, I only liked the first 2 seasons because it was different & her talkshow had topics that were aim toward teens & young adults at the time (something that Oprah didn't always do).

On Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-list, Kathy talked about how she loved Oprah, even though [WHISPERED] "She thinks she's Jesus".

Man I miss Jenny, Sally Jesse and Ricki too. I don't watch Montel anymore and I hardly watch Oprah. [Edited 8/26/05 12:30pm] I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

[Edited 8/26/05 12:30pm] I agree. Never got into Oprah but it's on all the time here. Ricki was amazing when I was in middle school but once I got to college, I was embrassed by it.

Murray is the new Jerry. He does liek maybe ten types of shows, max. The best being "Who's the Daddy", "Are You Cheating", "I Have a Confession to Make" and "Wild Teens". Then the "Is This Lady a Man thing" that they do a few times a year is funny. "Wild Moments Caught On Tape" is kind of boring. "Talented Kids" is a yawn fest. "Don't Stare At Me" (which is sometimes combined with "Talented Kids" is kind of sad. And worst of all is "Odd Couples" because it is the most fake thing ever. Anyone that has watched the show for the past years like I have knows excatly what I'm talking about. I watch (or used to) a lot of Murray. It was great when it was on at 4p...now it's on at 11AM (which I won't be able to see anymore) and 1:30am (which I can't stay up to watch anymore, either). Damn student teaching. I barely have any days off...I wish I were doing it in the Spring when they get tons of time off! [Edited 8/26/05 13:31pm]

I can understand being embarrassed by Ricki after a while. I watched it till the end. I thought it would never go off the air. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I don't doubt that at all. Look at those zombie women at her shows. She could say "Fart bitches Fart!" and the crowd would probably cheer and fart away. Coo-coo I tell you. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

We are the exact same when it comes to the show. I can't get with odd couples and spies on tapes but "are you my daddy, are you cheating and my baby weighs 200 pounds", now that's the best. I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Jenny Jones was the talkshow to watch all the badass kids that the parents could never control (or better yet, too afraid to whip their little asses!!). Also, Jenny always has the people that dressed too sexy (on purpose!). I miss Geraldo mostly for the gang violence subjects. I miss Montel for his own battles against racism.

Some of them even get tears in their eyes....Pathetic. The man who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them. -- Mark Twain.

Richard Bey lasted one season in Texas & Louisiana. And his show would be on dead late nights. The subject about sexy mother & daughter teams comes to mind.

I haven't seen Montel since last year, 2004.
