i'm so pissed we didn't have time to eat at khyber pass or pomme frites last weekend. i'd beg you to mail me some pomme frites, but i don't think it would exactly be the same....  so far, i love "pieces" on christopher street, because my roomie works there, and gets me lots of free drinks, and they love my singing on karaoke nights. 
i found my favorite spot in the city. it's in central park, just behind the boathouse. big rock that overlooks the water, very tranquil and pretty. [Edited 8/26/05 15:42pm] the rocks at central park are awesome - i used to be part of a writing group that met on one of the big rocks throughout the summer, and it was just the most amazing setting. i don't think it was the same place as where you're mentioning...but it's great to stake out a piece of that park as "yours" to get some peace of mind. | |
