Goodbye possibly!!!!!!!!! Curfew in effect here in New Olreans and I am stuck here at my mamas house off Reed blvd in east New Orleans for those of u who is in the city or know the city. And yes in direct path with Lake Pontchatrain. Cable is out believe it or not. i have to watch on computer for now. Picture of pontratrain at bottom of post here i took 20 minutes ago. I'll be back if i can if i am not floating in the water around 8pm. i have to go on other sites and report. | |

Can't you leave? I just watched the news and they said it's 7 hours until the storm hits and people are being told to leave if they can. | |

Because if your house will only withstand 120 and the Superdome can handle 130 then I know where I'd want to be  (back here in England actually) ... but I think you understand what I'm trying to say. | |

New Orleans Curfew: 6:00pm Metairie & Kenner Curfew : 6:05pm And just moments ago, Interstate 10 East & West is now closed since 6:15pm The only people that can still leave are the ones that just made it to Baton Rouge! [Edited 8/28/05 16:24pm] | |
