time for another little rant...



1st; to make things perfectly clear. no one is mad/angry/bitter/negative/or
upset here. not me anyway. (ok..not that much. )


i'll try to get right to it. in 'real life' and on the org; why are people so bitter? and more-so, negative? ..about everything. when i hear about people getting into fights in a parking lot over someone cutting them off, or someone going "postal" in a public place; now i begin to wonder who really is the sane one.

we live in a society of "i can say or do whatever i want". yes. you can say whatever you want. it doesn't mean i have to or even want to hear it. sure. do what you will. but your freedom should not infringe on mine.
we all have our moments. we've all been an ass from time to time. i'm not excluding myself nor claiming to be a saint.

but even being, broke, sick, depressed, etc... i still say "thank you and please." how about "excuse me"? ever hear of that one? this "it's all about me" attitude makes me sick. people are just fucking nasty. what the fuck are you so damn paranoid about? or is it just me? perhaps the world (or just this nasty cunt infested city i live in) is getting to me. i don't know.

yes. everyone has their problems. economy may not be that great. but yet we allow it to happen. why do you think there is poverty, war, racism, sexism, agism, sensless deaths, etc... because everyone is too fucking busy worrying about their damn self. would it hurt to be polite? even if you yousrself had a crap day? i don't take things out on people for no apparent reason. taking your shit out on someone else doesn't make your day or theirs any better. is there such a thing as too much freedom?

and this innocent act people pull. they keep at it with their negativity and then when called on it, they act fucking innocent. bitch please! own up to your responsibilities and what you put out there. you keep pushing, and eventually someone's gonna push back twice as hard. and ignoring someone because they don't agree with you and you don't want to hear them out; think about the next time you open your mouth and want to be heard. others may shut their ears.

someone at the L.A. meet up (really tired of that 'invasion' term. ); told me nto never back down from what i have to say. and that's something i lost along the way through life. always being polite or holding my tongue at times when i thought it was best. so i figured i'd let it out on the org instead of taking it out on someone for no reason. it's ok to have opinions, it's ok to disagree. but at the end of the day everyone is just like you. treat others the way you want to be treated. and for those who think this is a moment of mania... not at all. i mean come on now. how much aggression can a madonna/kylie fan really have pent up?

sometimes the most insane things make the most sense.

Anyways, I have found over the last 10 years that the only way to get through life is to be assertive and direct, at least in business.

People like it when you give a little--it's their que to take as much as they can out of you.

I am a very polite person in real life. Very curtious and I never try to hurt anyone's feelings. I'm also very patient.
But in the business world, I'm agressive.

You know, this last week, I've noticed a rudeness, a harshness, a cynicism creeping into my personality that just wasn't there before. I've been holding grudges and harboring resentment and even yelling mean things at my housemate. Just mucking around in some ugly psychic territory for sure. The way I see it, it's getting away from our spiritual essence and letting the greasy paws of the world dirty us up. Good thing I'm going on retreat this week. I need a nice spirit cleansing and some meditation.

First off - to be honest, I really don't like LA. Fine for folks that do, but it's just not my kinda place. I'd go haywire trying to live there.
Second - I hear you. I can't stand rudeness. It really, really bothers me. The world would be a much better place if everyone just learned some manners. I truly believe that.
