people who keep writing you at old e-mail addresses

what the hell?!?

am i the only one with friends who completely ignore the fact that i don't use a particular e-mail address anymore, even after i've specifically told them to delete the old e-mail address from their addy book and add the new one, otherwise i'll never read their e-mails ever again?!?

is there a way to delete a yahoo account and direct the e-mail to my current one? or do i just keep browbeating my friends?

Yeah, I still get mail sent to my hotmail account. I reply back through my new gmail account and they still send messages to hotmail! It's like they're going out of their way to do it! lol

sheesh! what, is it a fear of change that some people have?

i mean, my current e-mail address is simply MY NAME. how hard is that to remember? but NO, they have to send to some crack-assed goofy named address i had three years ago. NO LOGIC.

All they have to do is hit reply and it'll go to my current address. Are they actually composing anew each time or worse replying but deleting my new address and replacing it with the old one???? It's unfathomable.

Sounds odd when people say that.

'Write me!'

You mean write to you? I guess people have just become used to saying it in the US? Can't be correct though, surely.

i think it's an abbreviation of "write me a letter".

fax me a memo.
fix me an omelette.
pour me a drink.

etc.
