My orange Cats names:

Krittients
Kritty Kratty
Uno

My Cat Kritty Kratty (aka Krittens & Krattens) was a house cat. I got Kritty Kratty when she was just a few weeks old. I hand fed her till she was big enough and gave her vitamins to help her grow. She really thought I was her mother. To bolster that, I would pretend lick her. I would just rub my face against hers as if I was her mother cat grooming her. She would just sit there and purr mushy She was so attached to me sometimes I would have to push her away because if I let her she would be with me on me 24 hours a day.

One day I was doing laundry and when I came back, the house was suspiciously quiet. I called out to her and she did not come. Instantly I knew she had to have gotten outside. So I went outside and called for her. When I turned the corner I saw her in position taking it from a tomcat. I yelled out and the tomcat ran away and I grabbed her up and scolded her and put her back in the house.

A while later I noticed a little bulge. She was pregnant eek Well I waited for her to blow up like a football and the bulge never really got bigger. I felt it and it felt like a pregnancy but she wasn't getting bigger. I thought maybe I might be wrong. One night I'm sleeping and she wakes me up with a howl and she reached out to me and her claw got stuck in the bottom of my foot :ouch:

I thought...she is pregnant and she's giving birth! So I found a box and put a towel in it and then placed her inside. She turned 3 times and then stretched out and out came a kitten. I waited up with her to deliver the rest of the kittens but none ever came. She only had one cat eek That's why I named it Uno giggle

Another time I was laying down on the couch and when I woke up she was on my chest and she was staring at me with her paws on both of my cheeks, just kneading away. It was so cute mushy

I love you little kittie Nikki hug

I am sorry for my aggressive wording, but what I said still stands both about the so-called "breeder" and the age of the kitten. When you take her to the vet, please be sure to tell him/her that she was taken from the mother at an early age. As Sweeny said, unfortunately most people who call themselves "breeders" are nothing but kitten/puppy pill runners sad Since you paid nothing for your kitten I'd have to say that's probably the case with the woman you got the kitten from, in the very least she was anxious to get rid of the kittens. Of course there is always the risk that she is ignorant of when to ween the kittens away from her mother.

Good luck with the little one! smile

Thanks Sweeny, i basically had to go through an interview to get this kitten..like i was adopting a baby...the woman breeds cats ,some people should think before they post.

Yeah, I'm thinking the woman breeds money. If you didn't pay much for your kitten, then it was all for show. She should know better. The kitten doesn't look like a purebred though. Ask a vet if you doubt me. Kittens age the same in Europe as they do in the rest of the world.

You aren't a expert and nobody really wants your opinion. Didn't you just start a thread saying you hate when people ask for it...so why do you force it on everyone?

Yes you did. I remember it because you asked Bryon if it bothered him how everyone wants his opinion about photography and then you went on some deal about how people asking your opinion about pets is so annoying... I can't really remember all the details...all I remember thinking is "why did I click on this chicks thread....she always has dumb issues".

Back to the kitten. Is it still young enough that it says "mew" instead of "meow"? I love that big grin
