I lived there for five months and the best part is just walking around the streets, at night too. Walk along the Seine on the Left Bank and sit for a while at the cafes or get a crepe at one of the sidewalk stands. I love strolling through the Jardin du Luxembourg on weekends. Don't forget to notice Notre Dame and go shopping for fabulous black leather shoes at Les Halles.

The gardens of Palace Versailles are beautiful, if the weather is good you should go. The palace itself is also amazing, I never wanted to leave. Have fun Natisse, it's a gorgeous city. I'd wanna go live there if it weren't for all those French people everywhere.

I was stunned by the Louvre. I really didnt'care for the Arc de Triump or the Eifel Tower (they're just big buildings to me). But the Louvre is really amazing. You enter through that wierd pyramid in the square, and it looks like you're walking into a large underground AirPort or something. The scale is amazing.

Peter and I plan to fly to Paris sometime this winter for some days , we have been there 3 times and due to some circumstances we never really enjoyed it that much, but that will change this time .
BTW, jn2 lives not too far from Paris, he's a lovely guy

Every woman who goes to Paris should come back with a husband. Otherwise it isn't considered a successful trip in Europe.
