Eiffel tower Arc de Triumphe Notre Dame Louvre (although queues are usually hours long) Try one of the river cruises - they're very good, lots of info and lots of great views. Don't forget your camera!!! Latin quarter for decently priced nosh. Latin quarter for good pubs as well. Check out the number 1 metro line terminus at Gard du Nord - it's a tropical rain forest. Plus the nbr 1 line has driverless trains - so sit at the front and enjoy the ride. Moulin Rouge is interesting... from the outside - we decided it was way too expensive to bother with. Disneyland ? Anyway, Paris is a beautiful city, you won't run out of things to see and do. Have a blast! [Edited 8/22/05 7:54am] Lemmy, Bowie, Prince, Leonard. RIP.

Sacre Coeur.
Musée d'Orsay The Taschen bookstore, 2, rue de Buci, 75006 Paris which is located in one of the BEST shopping streets in Paris. Nice vibe. Le Shop. My favest clothing store EVER; http://www.leshop-paris.com/ 3, Rue d'Argout, 75002 Paris with lots of other shops around the corner, like Guess and Diesel. Around the corner the best fire department of the world, men-in-uniform-wise that is... Centre Pompidou. Modern art, with the best little Jewish cafe in Paris around the corner. Le Marais. The gay quarter. Cutting edge fashion AND Place des Vosges around the corner... [Edited 8/22/05 15:00pm]

I lived there for five months and the best part is just walking around the streets, at night too. Walk along the Seine on the Left Bank and sit for a while at the cafes or get a crepe at one of the sidewalk stands. I love strolling through the Jardin du Luxembourg on weekends. Don't forget to notice Notre Dame and go shopping for fabulous black leather shoes at Les Halles.
