i was just going to start a thread about this!!! i've been contemplating it for a couple years now. there's a couple things i want done ( i need to fix my face) . but it's so damn expensive. (i think). then choosing the right surgeon, getting references, etc.. which you should. however, it's hard finding other men that will admit to having it done though. so maybe if i can somehow save up some "beverly hills" money i'll take that 1st visit.

Doubtful. To me, it--wanting plastic surgery--would indicate I had more of an INternal problem than external (i.e., worrying that others won't find me attractive as I age). It's also a relatively dangerous thing to do; people still die or have nasty complications. It's sad that so many of us don't even know what natural breasts look like and that we expect them ALL look like Pamela Anderson's or they're considered "saggy".
I would do some microdermabrasion or something else non-invasive, though. Especially something to get rid of my freckles. Disclaimer: this post is not directed at anyone personally. If you've had plastic surgery, good for you. [Edited 8/22/05 18:04pm]

You have an internal problem. Seriously, don't get rid of them. Freckles are really cute. .

My best friend had that done--she's only 5'2" and had HUGE boobs. They really affected her health in a bad way. That said--I am ALL in favor of plastic surgery for reconstructive purposes . My mom's best friend had breast cancer and a double mastectomy; having plastic surgery to create breasts was good for her self-esteem.

i understand exactly what you are saying however i feel as though the plastic surgery i want (and hopefully will get someday) is more for myself than anyone else. I don't find my belly buldge attractive...i have been seriously working out for about a year with both arobics and strngth training...i have lost 6 inches off my waist and abdomen however after having a baby it just won't go away so i want a tummy tuck. i have also had a breast reduction and it was the best thing i have EVER done for myself. the major discomfort of having DDD breasts is no longer there. i understand that there are a lot of people out there that want/get plastic surgery for vain reasons...striving for "perfection" but some of us do it for medical reasons and just to feel better. you're only as old as you feel..............so how old do i feel
Now that food has replaced sex in my life, I can't even get into my own pants.
