How is this possible?

I have a closet full of clothes but I NEVER I have the right thing to wear. Anyone else have this problem and wonder how it could be?
If it doesn't fit, it's ugly anyway.

I used to.

But I give anything I don't normally wear to Good Will.

I figure it's better to have fewer clothes that you like than a closet full of clothes collecting bad Chi.

I gave away all of my ugly clothes but still don't have the right wardrobe.

When that happens to me it's not because of the clothes it's because I don't like the person inside the clothes... But that's just me. rose

That could be it because I'm REALLY hard on myself.

Some clothes are timeless. smile

I've still got a closet full and bags of clothes at my parent's house in storage. There's some stuff I can't bear to get rid of, even though I might not want it (or it might not fit) right now. I used to have quite a bit of vintage stuff and even if I won't wear it again, some of the fabrics and materials I may want some day. And fashion always goes through cycles.

Well, noir chic, and post modern clothing always is timeless.

But JerseyKRS is talking about his members only jacket, and stuff like that. disbelief

I have a Ramones tshirt that I just can not bear to get rid of. There are quite a few worn old clothes that I just can't let go of.

I have a drawer nearly full of old band/concert T shirts I can't bear to part with. A few of them are unwearable and unwashable at this point cause they'd probably disintegrate but I still can't get rid of them.

ok. Here's where I agree.

I have a NIN shirt from 1992 I bought in Frankfurt that I can bear to get rid of and it has holes in it.

I also own a joy Division and a few Smiths shirts I can't bear to get rid of.

I, did however, throw away my Def Leppard shirt ages ago. rolleyes

You could make good money offa that Def Leppard T in a vintage shop these days, silly!

And I have a Cure Disintigration shirt that is, literally, disintigrating and almost seems as if there are more holes than fabric. I also have a Pixies T that's got holes all down the back.
I had 3 old Bauhaus shirts that really were of good quality cotton, and they were shaped nicest of all my old t shirts, but alas, though they didn't fall apart I've somehow lost all 3 of them over the years. sad
I've got old Janes Addiction shirts and Lollapalooza shirts I now use for when I'm painting.
And a stack of Prince T's I never wear in public. lol

That's pretty cool! Why don't you wear that in public? batting eyes

I have a black t-shirt with red letters that read "Shenzen - Border city of China". My dad bought it in the early seventies close to the Mongolian border and it's totally flawless. The colours, the fabric; everything is perfect. They don't make 'em like they used to...
