Redfeathers posted a thread about sidewalk chalk art, I think by this guy because it was wickedly 3D looking, a few months ago.
It is amazing work to be sure. I'm firmly planted in denial | |

Moderator | I got these pictures in an email a while ago...simply amazing! In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

Moderator | This is something I've been doing for about 10 years now in my own neck of the states.
I also host and design the website: http://streetpaintingfestivalinc.org You can see me around the site in some of the areas. We contacted the particular fellow above last year to be one of our "featured artists" but he was rather cocky and wanted stupid money to even show up. Which is cool. He has every right to name his price, but we are a volunteer festival that will pay for your travel, food and lodging so it he just didn't fit in the budget. I've just finished the DVD of last year's festival. I'll post an ad here sometime soon if you'd like a copy. It's deffinately a unique artform. [Edited 8/22/05 19:39pm] All Rights Reserved. |
