I loves me some kittens! woot!

When I took my current cat in it was because she had kittens, and until I found homes for them all they were all over the place!

Kittens and cats pretty much go in the litter box as soon as you show them where it is. That is a good thing!

They do need to go to the vet, because there are ailments like feline leukemia and such that they need vaccinations for.

Check your local pound..its kitten season---they should have an abundance of kittens and cats in need of good homes.

I really want to get one ,so they don't take much work to look after ..see i'm not supposed to have pets ,so i'm afraid it will tear up the furniture...and i will have to hide it in box when my landlord calls smile

Declawing IS awful! They won't be able to defend themselves. I hear it's basically like taking off a finger up to the first knuckle. disbelief

Yeah, you can (and should) trim their claws, but that won't stop them from tearing up your furniture!

Just roll with it!

i love kitties! they're so cute and they will cuddle with and make you feel better about everything. cat

some stores sell double sided tape that will keep your cat from scratching up your furniture. they don't like sticky or wet stuff on their paws so this stuff works. once they associate the stickiness with your furniture, they won't scratch it anymore and you can take it off.
My kitty wants to play...

The litter box thing is a breeze. Essentially, you just get a litter box, put the litter in it, and sit your kitten in it. If you see your kitten looking around for a place to scratch or summat, sit him/her in the litter box. Kitties don't like to pee or poop unless they can cover it up, so's really they understand right off the fact that they can use the litter box for that.

My cat, Akhenaten, got it on the first try. He had been an outdoor kitten then I brought him home. Anyway, to this day, he's never pooped or peed anywhere except that box. No "accidents." This is two years later.

I was quite drunk from going through three cases of beer with a few friends. Came on here, made an ass of myself as usual (drunk or sober)... lol... talked with a friend until five this morning and went to bed. Unfortunately, I awoke this morning, at 7:30, wide awake. So, what to do when all that happens... go shopping. I'm afraid to see the damage I've just done with all the school clothes I've just bought. Yikes.

And, that picture up there is disturbing.

So what happens if the landlord sees it and you get in trouble? Just figure it all out before you get one, cuz you don't want to have to take it back.....or find a home for it.....
