For years I thought I was 5'8". That's what's on my driver's license, and I think it's said that since I first got licensed at 16.

Well, it turns out that, at least without shoes, I'm only 5'7"... or more accurately, 5' 6.75".

Maybe it's fair to say that I'm 5'8" because my height is roughly that if I'm wearing shoes.
