Do you believe in fate? If so, do you think there's a road you will inevitably walk down towards your pre-determined death?

Or do you believe that every decision you make is entirely down to your free-will, and those decisions (together with chance) determine the path your life takes?

Or some half-way house?

so do you believe you have any choice in the matter? What if there are people who fate decrees you will never meet, but they would have enriched your lifes had you met them? That would be very sad, i think.

one hand...i think you alot of things happen for a reason and sometimes when we do make our own decisions against what is supposed to happend....those are the rough patches in our lives

but on the other hand..who wants to live there life thinking like that?

someone told me everytime the clasp of your chain or necklace moves to the front of your neck it means someone is thinking of you. i dont wear one but it seemed like a good thing to throw out there

reminds me of the "Footprints" poem / short story about God carrying you through your darkest times. Except in the fate version, you've brought it on yourself. Which is quite damning, in a way.

The chain thing i'd never heard before. I've heard about coughing, and ears going red, both meaning that someone's thinking of you. But i shall look out for that one as well, now. :thumsbup:
