I would think the reason why he's having trouble with these parts (at least the ones I've seen him try so far) is that he's playing on an unfamiliar set-up and they're not the typical rock 2 & 4.

Those drums are also in a weird tuning, so that doesn't help things for him. Tommy's a fine rock drummer, but he may get a little lost with the fancy stuff.

I saw an interview recently with Sandra Bernhard where she was asked about Tommy and admitted that, even though he seems dim, she still finds him hot. Hey, if even Sandra finds him hot, I guess there's somethin' to it.

Tommy is a great rock drummer, but when it comes to playing in a marching band or whatever it is he is doing, there is time signatures, notes and the such, it is all probably a bit foreign to him.


and I agree almost ALL of the musicians unless they are classically trained cant read music, only tablatures

Just got through watching the the new episode of Tommy Lee going to college; it was hysterical!!! Did anybody see how when Tommy was standing at the edge of the pool getting ready to dive in, all of the girls in the class were staring at him? I swear, they were checking out his "package".

Or at the very beginning of the episode, when Tommy was in class, and they were dissecting frogs. The teacher said something about the students having to "sex the frog" (I think it meant determining if the frog was male or female). The look on Tommy Lee's face was funny as anything, literally had me LOLing. I love this show!
