Over here in the UK I watch Fox News on Sky Satelite and I always see reports of the rising gas prices. Anyway, when my family and I used 2 live in the USA(1993-2001), gas prices were moreorless under $1 a gallon, now I see that its almost $3 a gallon!!!

What I wanna know is, how have these high gas prices affected U?? Have u had 2 make any changes, large or small, in your way of living 2 accommodate the rising prices??? Are u guys, still making long trips or have u had 2 cut down??

The reason I ask is that we are returning back 2 the USA 2 live in about 3 months time!!

There isn't one orger here that doesn't have problems in their life. They may be short term, they may be long term but everyone goes through a bad patch.

Some people openly post their problems when they're down, and post the positive stuff when they're on an 'up'. Some people don't give any personal things away and use the forum to keep in touch with friends, to have a laugh or pass the time of day while dealing with 'real life' in real life.

The reason people react to you in the way you do is because you genuinely only ever criticize the UK, and to the point that it's not only the UK orgers that are riled by your posts. (This thread is a good example of that).

So, I'm sorry that you feel your life is that bad Roz, but you have to bear in mind that you're not the only person that is unhappy while everyone else is here living their, as you put it, 'wonderful lives', because that's not how it is. It's just that some people deal with it differently to you.

Also, and I mean this sincerely, do you really feel that relocating to the states is going to make everything ok, if you are so unhappy, and your life is so bad?
