Herb growers help please

i am overflowing with pineapple sage ...

do you grow/ harvest it ?

do you have fav ways to use it ?

talk to me bout pineapple sage nod

I don't know what pine apple sage is, but I always throw almost every herb I grow in my soup! lol

And I save my herbs in the freezer, just take out or break off what I need.. rose

I did a little search and this forum came up. Someone did mention that Pinapple sage is mostly for looks and scent...but a few came up with some uses for it. And a few talk about it's heartiness.

My oregano ended up dying...but my Basil did nicely and I just cut it back and dried it. It smells lovely.

i am going to make roasted pears with pineapple sage tonight

my basil took over ..as always lol

all my herbs did really well this season

Savory Roasted Pears

2 tb Balsamic vinegar
2 tb Olive oil
1 ts Dijon-style mustard
1 ts Minced fresh thyme
1/2 ts Minced fresh rosemary
1/4 ts Salt and ground pepper
1/4 ts Minced fresh pineapple sage
4 Firm; ripe Northwest Anjou Pears; cored and quartered


Combined all ingredients except pears; mix well. Brush pears with vinegar and oil mixture. Place pears on oiled rack in broiler pan. Bake at 425 F 12 to 15 minutes, brushing once after 6 minutes. Serve with roasted poultry or meats.
