I think this was the winning entry.

I wasnt a big fan of it either. I think the tallest tower was going to be 1776 ft tall and be named Freedom Tower. I think they needed to go back to the drawing board. I kinda liked the idea of building the towers the way they were like Donald Trump had suggested. That made good sense to me.

The design of the proposed Freedomn Tower has just been modified slightly.

I still don't like it all that much.

hmph!

I heard something that donald trump was going to build them...they were goin to be the exact same only with a floor higher. I don't know if this is true or not but I hears this on the news. I would hope so Donald Trump has the money, he also said he believes that they should be exactly the same. I would like that very much...the ny skyline is so empty and its not the same driving to the city anymore. You use to drive in and be greeted by those huge towers...it was always so amazing to look at.

Buildings like these are impressive to look at and it is cool to push the boundaries of architecture, but what is their purpose? Or is being impressive to look at and pushing boundaries their purpose?
I'm firmly planted in denial

I like the new design. Much more interesting than the Empire State Building.

talk to the hand
Cinderella's Castle at Disneyworld can also be said to be more interesting than the Empire State Building. That doesn't make it a suitable replacement for the Twin Towers.
