Two different goals, two different desired results. Little more than that...
Spurlock wanted to show what would happen if people lived as McDonald's advertisements mostly suggested: eating there constantly, buying their value meals and "supersizing" it when they did. The two from this article wanted to show that eating at McDonald's, even daily, could not only be healthy, but could help you lose weight if done correctly. Personally, I don't think we needed "experiments" from anyone to prove either of these things...should just be common sense. There's too many variables connected to things in life to oversimplify anything to the point of "This good, that bad" mentality. All those variables will allow anyone to reach any conclusion they desire. | |
