You think? I'm keen to see what happens. Will they all start eyeing up the big guy and licking their lips after the food runs out? Who will break the news to him and how?

questions..questions..!!!

Or will the little old lady offer herself up as a barbecue? will the good looking guy and that pretty girl who keep looking into each others eyes for longer than is proper,i.e lingering, steal away from the camp for mugs of hot cocoa and spare (old lady) ribs under the stars.

Anxiety

i'm wondering if abrams will do with this show what he did with "alias" - it seems like he brought the show to a full-stop conclusion and wrapped up all the storylines, then just kinda turned the show over to other writers and moved on to other projects...he kinda controlled when the show jumped the shark after he'd told the stories he wanted to tell. even though it kinda killed the show, i admire how he controlled his ability to see his storytelling through. i haven't seen "lost" yet, but is the same thing going to happen? or has it already?

Rumors of Jennifer leaving the show abound.

Why was it a load of toss? Because of the series finale? But come on you watched all the way up until them cuz you were intrigued. So did it not do it's job...to be entertaining and intrigueing?

i don't know how the show could go on without her - it's her vehicle. i mean, at least 'laverne and shirley' still had laverne when cindy williams quit. confused

They just showed the pilot here. I watched some, it seems a bit predictable, I hope it gets better.

Is that show about the idiot who packs up everything and heads to New York, a city which proceeds to eat him alive and spit his midwest hick bones down the sewer?

Oh no. That's cborgman's life story...

you have no idea. at first i didn't like it because of the back story, it could have been more brutal la la la. But it started to get a lot more intrigueing and interconnected stories. It also got more complex and subtle. I am hooked.

Many were not pleased with the season finale because we were all expecting more. The thing was they could just show you something and not even have to explain it...little things. Just leave you perplexed. I liked that. It meant that they were either taking thier time figuring it out and not ruining it with something lame or they didn't know and will figure out something during the break. However, while the end is good, they could have given the audience a little bit more to the answers for at least watching and sticking with it.

no, it went to crap (what was with that RHONDA ho, anyway?!?), but at least there was some kind of spit-thin justification for being able to keep some semblance of the show going on...whereas with alias, there's no laverne! lol

You mean in the sense that David Lynch did this in Twin Peaks? That is one of the things I loved about Twin Peaks, the unexplained things, and you just accpeted them and went with it, the suspension of reality, embracing the bizarre. David Lynch is a genius.

I'm going to continue watching it.

So, a thread that says "I win" gets deleted, but something that just says "bollocks" doesn't.

That's food for thought.

Where's Number23?

There's food for thought.

It's a little like that. More like X-Files meets Gilligans Island (sans humor). There are definitly very mysterious moments and you have to believe in there is a point to the island. It is Lynchian, IMO.

But it wasn't "starting shit." In fact, it wasn't anything offensive in the least. I was sharing my joy.

But okay. wink
