Blue...

Do you ever feel sad for no good reason?

My romantic relationship is fulfilling.
I have no real money worries.
I have friends and family that love me.
I have brand new job I'll be starting soon.

Yet, all I've done since I woke up today is watch TV and cry.

I just don't have the metal/emotional energy to do anything today.

And before ya'll ask, it's not PMS. confused

That could be the problem. Usually when I'm feeling down like that it's either because new, stressful (yes they can be positive and stressful) stuff is going on OR the opposite: that nothing new has happened in my life for a long time.

You need a hero to save you from mundanity and complacency, to remind you of who you once were, who you are and what you can be.

Signs of Depression

· Abnormal or interrupted sleeping patterns (including restlessness and
disturbing dreams) I have nightmares about 3 times a week.

· Trouble concentrating on daily activities not really

· Constant worry, irritability and anxiety Oh yeah... nod

· Discontinuing activities that once were important or fun somewhat

· A short fuse, becoming easily enraged That's me all the time! lol

· Having more energy as the day progresses around 4pm I wake up nod

No I don't! That school and the kids were evil! I miss them in little ways but I don't really care about not seeing them again.

I get like that from time to time... In fact, a few months ago I could barely get out of bed for a week. I slept through most of the day and night and when I was awake it wasn't very pretty. But, I eventually pull myself out of it and it gets better. I know deep down that I sometimes worry too much and I definitely think too much but I've been this way my whole life. I don't know how to be any different. shrug

It's a curse and a blessing. The curse part is almost like the relatively reasonable price you pay for the blessing. Sometimes it helps to think of it that way. I know what you're going through.

I do think of it that way! But then you see all these "non thinkers" who can run around happy and free and I can't help but envy them.
