What is up with all of these Movie remakes of tv shows? Dukes of Hazzards
Charlie's Angels Bewitched The Honeymooners Miami Vice is in the making... What in the hell is going on in Hollywood? No good ideas anymore? Funny how they cast low-rated actors for these movies as well. You don't see Halle Berry, Denzel Washington, Sean Penn or Al Pacino in these type films... I fear what will be next.... The Cosby Show: The Movie Starring: Cliff Huxtable - Chris Tucker Clair Huxtable - Beyonce Rudy Huxtable - the little girl on "my wife and kids" Vanessa Huxtable - Solange Knowles Denise Huxtable - Christina Milan Theo Huxtable - Nick Cannon Seinfield: The Movie Jerry - Jason Biggs George - Jack Black Elaine - Mandy Moore Kramer - Seann William Scott Sanford & Son: The Movie Fred - Cedric the Entertainer Lamont - Nelly Rollo - 50 cent But shyt, one series I wouldn't mind seeing if they got a real good script, would be "Dynasty"...ain't nothing like some backstabbing cat fights on screen. http://www.soundclick.com...rmusic.htm Dare I say that Jimmy Walker might actually be good casting for Grady? These movie remakes of shows are terrible. Probably worse then the constant redoing of movies....although I can't say that with 100% confidence. I think the fact that "Bewitched" did pretty poorly and "Honeymooners" probably did even worse, the trend might stop soon. Hell, in the early ninties, this was getting out of control with "The Adams Family", "The Beverly Hillbillies" and "The Coneheads" (kind of a TV show...). Now the fact that "Dukes Of Hazard" did well (although you could tell they probably spent just as much in promotion as they did on the movie if not more) might not have the trend revese so quickly. | |
