anybody else on here ever work retail? i swear, some people are just f'ing morons. aside from asking the ultimate dummy question "do you work here" (oblivious to the name badge, me standing on a ladder holding a telxon gun)...
i swear people leave their brains at home when they go out to shop.

ive worked retail... and im here to tell ya, its fuckin nuts, iv'e worked at a record store (granted this was my dream job when i was a kid) iworked at a record world ( shit iv'e dated myself) anyway,my manager was an asshole and i was sacked for "misplacing n album sleeve" which was bullshit. but retail is psycho

ugggggh i hate the do u work here question! also when they come up and ask "can i ask u a question?" i swear im going to start saying NO.

Ugg I have worked and managed retail...I quit to move somewhere else...so hopefully in about 4 days when I leave here I will find a job that I won't have to do that shit anymore.

I try not to give u guys a hard time. Really, I dont.

ooo i suck at retail. i tried it while i was in school but apparently i am lacking the degree of tact necessary to make a good salesperson.

i hate it when people who were supposedly taught some manners just act ignorant when they come out and shop. you know...just leave piles of stuff in the middle of the floor...open packages to see if it's their size, and then buy the next one still in the package...

thank god, i'm only going to have to work retail for a few more weeks.

the most annoying things:

1) if you're buying something w/o a price tag on it, DO NOT chortle "It must be free then!" at me. i'm already grumpy that i have to run off & find another item for you, so don't make it worse.

2) if you/your brat spills soda or whatever all over the carpet, DO NOT fucking walk off without so much as an apology and leave me to clean it up. it's extra annoying when you're looking at clothes about a rack away while i'm scrubbing the floor.

Yes!! There are definitely some thingz dat really annoy me. Like when a customer decidez 2 buy something then 5 minutez later decidez they want an exchange! Usually when i have abourt 10 other customerz 2 serve and noone else is on da floor!!! AND THEN da freaking phone ringz...and then da customer who wantz an exchange ALSO wantz you 2 wrap for them!! How many freaking handz do i look like i have for gawdz sake.

Also customerz (usually touristz) who POINT i want THAT. WHAT? WHAT do you WANT? WHAT is it CALLED? AM i Merlin da magician, am i suppose 2 read your mind?

Also smartarse customerz who fink they know more than you. Like perfume 'oh i'll put it on my skin NOT the card- because itz supposed 2 change on your skin.' Uh hello,i'm trained in this shit, I already KNOW that. Why are YOU telling me this.(ass hole).
