I didn't say best, I said favorite. Pulp Fiction was a way better movie than Purple Rain, but I enjoy watching Purple Rain more. So the answer is yes, I would rather watch these films over and over than any other.

Love those, especially Elizabeth. Such an underappreciated film. Had it not been released in the same year as Shakespeare in Love, I think it would have gotten props. And Cate Blanchett not winning the Oscar that year is a shame.

Elizabeth, which essentially was a Godfather remake disguised as an historical period piece, was superb.

I absolutely agree. Elizabeth is my favorite movie of all time. If you haven't seen 'Queen Margot' (my #2 film), check that one out. It's almost the same story but in France.

I forgot about this one because it's not on my shelf, but it definitely was a fun one to watch. Possibly even more fun than sexy courtesans in India.

I was in front of my CD collection when I did the musician A-Z list, and now I'm going to have to go home and scan my DVD's again.

I originally had Woo's The Killer down at K but changed it.

George Sanders was the perfect snob and twit. I love his work for the most part. perfect contrast with Olivier in Rebecca. Do you like him better in Rebecca or All about Eve?
