This has been a staple for me since I was a young teenager. Even at an hour away, I used to go here on a regular basis from about the age of 14. I don't know what I would've done without it. A lot of my musical education is because of this store. Great selection. Mostly great staff. Amazing dance room. They're not quite what they used to be - a mecca for singles, promos, vinyl, etc. But they're still pretty f'n great. I just love the feeling I get once I step through those doors.




A new discovery for me, but I'm totally hooked! Again, I have to travel to go here, but it's so worth it to me. One thing I miss about living close to Detroit. I rarely even question the price or what I'm going to do with the food when I shop there. I just start throwing what looks good to me in the basket and deal with the consequences. I love guilt-free shopping!




I'm a sucker for a good art supply store. And this was one of my favorite haunts when I went to school in Detroit. I actually have more experience and love for Port Huron Paint. But I've kinda outgrown them and they don't have a website for me to post pretty pictures from. But I really like Utrecht's selection and layout. Just walking in there makes you wanna start working on something. The mark of a good one.

In about any supermarket in the U.S. you have special departments like a bakery where beautiful pies are made and sold, or you have a department with all different kinds of salads you can buy some from. They offer much more personal service. One supermarket I visited had an area where you could sit and eat your salad you just bought at the saladbar! Marvelous... I really thought it was marvelous.

i've been warming up to marshall field's since last christmas...i work right by the flagship store in chicago, and i'm learning all about the joys of getting lost in that big ol' store and hunting down all their ridiculously cheap markdown sale stuff.

Neiman Marcus Last Call.. $300/$400 shoes for $100, $1500/$2000 suits for $350/$500 plus the furniture. Its worth the flight to phoenix just to go there and shop.

Value City, get my $80 jeans for $17.

I can't really stand paying full price for anything, used to do it just see what I bought for 50% less the next week.

I would have to say that if I really had to narrow it down that dramaticly then
